We draw our maps as accurately and at as large a scale as possible, based on Ordnance Survey originals. The maps show those features such as field boundaries, woodlands and buildings which we feel are important to help guide you along the route, but are otherwise free from clutter.
The map for each walk is closely aligned with the respective text so you do not need to keep turning pages. You choose your walk, fold the guide to show that page and place it in the see-through wallet to follow the route.
The start points for the walks are clearly identified, numbered arrows show the direction to be followed, and each map section contains the applicable walk number to help minimise any confusion.
In addition each guide includes regional and local road maps to assist you in locating the walk start points.
The sample maps on this page are typical examples of our mapping, taken from Walks About The Hope Valley.
